A Poesia Infantil na Escola (página 3)
Segundo Gramsci ( 1978, p.31) :
Literatura funcional. Que corresponde em literatura, ao racionalismo arquitetônico? Por certo a literatura segundo um plano, isto é, a literatura " funcional" , de acordo com uma orientação social preestabelecida. É estranho que na arquitetura, o racionalismo seja aclamado e justificado, mas não nas demais artes. Deve residir ai um equivoco. Será que só a arquitetura tem finalidades práticas?
Nesse sentido e acrescentando a ele também a dimensão social da literatura, explicita Gonçalves Filho (2000, p. 128):
A literatura, parafraseando Nietzsche, serve para tudo e para nada, e talvez, para uma sociedade que parece tomar conta de todos os nossos sentidos e prazeres, para nada. A literatura se apresenta como uma instância cultural que facilita a configuração, por parte de seu usuário, de variados tipos de reação, desde a alienação escandalosa, o refinamento intelectual à grosseria pedagógica em síntese, o mergulho na loucura ou ao repouso na sabedoria (...) isso é literatura enquanto sociedade, enquanto social, enquanto produção social.
Os poetas que escrevem para as crianças não precisam necessariamente ter o objetivo de educá-las ou de proporcionarem a elas juízos de valores para a construção de sua personalidade e de seu caráter, mas entendemos que é possível, por meio da poesia infantil, potencializar na criança, além de sua capacidade de brincar, de imaginar, de fantasiar, de sonhar, também, a sua necessidade de agir e descobrir na sua própria ação o sentido da vida.
