A Contextualização das Políticas Educacionais Brasileira sob Análise Crítica e Emergente (página 3)
Com a homologação da LDB 9394 em 20 de dezembro de 1996 novas mudanças aconteceram. Ela tem um sentido mais abrangente, pois fala de educação formal e não formal, o qual foi abordado anteriormente, educação continuada, a distância, ambiental, sexual, etc. Busca, a atual LDB, prática social, mundo do trabalho, movimentos sociais, manifestações culturais. Uma das maiores conquistas foi inserir a educação infantil nas etapas da educação Básica, defender a gestão escolar oportunizando a participação da comunidade escolar. Veja a atual estrutura:

Perante tudo, é importante abordar a função do Pedagogo. Sua função se faz necessária por proporcionar uma ligação entre os profissionais da escola. É impossível que a escola ofereça uma educação emancipatória sem que ela própria seja primeiramente liberta do excesso de inovações. Mas sabemos que há escolas que não possuem pedagogo, cabendo ao professor o desempenho desta função.
O pedagogo dá qualidade, de certa forma, ao trabalho docente. Ao pedagogo cabe coordenar, implantar nos estabelecimentos de ensino, as Diretrizes Curriculares definidas no Projeto Político Pedagógico e Regimento Escolar.
Conclusão:
Através dos conhecimentos citados fica clara a importância do entendimento dos conhecimentos pedagógicos, pois desta maneira é possível desenvolver uma política leal e que com certeza dará qualidade no ensino.
