Período do Renascimento (continuação)

Michelangelo Buonarroti (1475-1564)

Entre 1508 e 1512 trabalhou na pintura do teto da Capela Sistina, no Vaticano. Para essa capela, concebeu e realizou grande número de cenas do Antigo Testamento. Dentre tantas que expressam a genialidade do artista, uma particularmente representativa é a criação do homem.

Rafael Sanzio (1483-1520)

Suas obras comunicam ao observador um sentimento de ordem e segurança, pois os elementos que compõem seus quadros são dispostos em espaços amplo, claros e de acordo com uma simetria equilibrada. Foi considerado grande pintor de "Madonas".
